So since we're all ironing our panties and waiting for the warm weather to return, I was thinking maybe it would be interesting to get a dyno day together. Might be an interesting thing to get together, arrange a number of dyno runs for everyone and then bullshit about the results. Anyone interested in seeing what their bikes are putting out? I'd be interested to see whether the mighty DRZ has cracked 30hp yet :D
If we get enough interest we might be able to get a discount on the dyno runs

Hell yeah
Would be good to as I am looking at a vortex ignition, so fitting it on the day would be sweet :D
The DRZ will crack 30 from idle 8) :P

Dunlop KT26's mate
You can always climb in into the engine cradle and make "brrm brrrrmmmmm" noises just to get the right affect as well ;)
Besides, don't you have a 44 hp motor lying around the place that should fit right into that vacant space :-k

I will be down at Dyno Bike this week some time, so I shall ask them how many bikes we need to get it cheap as.
Following on from the post on the track day at GPTC. Hey, they might want to sponsor me :D

Well I'm still keen, so let's get organizing! Good work sibbo, dyno bike would be my first port of call too. Rod sharp had dyno facilities too, but I'm not sure if he's back on since his illness or even whether his business is still going or not :(

Good plan Neil, Run the good engine down to rebuild status on the trip down and rollers?
What do I do then apart from double the rebuild bill?
And I want something for Thailand

Nope, load the bike up on a trailer, bring her down, a couple of runs on the dyno (maybe a bit of wheelie practice to make sure its running right ;) ) and then back up to wang for tea and medals :lol2:
And as for what you need for thailand, well, lets just say that if it were sibbo going that i'd be out buying ansell stock

I don't know, after seeing how smooth he is with the ladys at Woodonga he might not need stock at all  Oh he might be alright if they can't speak English

Sibbo's got to get a sponsor first!
Maybe that could be Ansell, either way.
Catch bottle for racing, catch tank for Thailand...

They will offer 1/2 price dyno tune (normailly ~$160) for all thoes that run.

Woohoo! Sounds good - I'm good for either one. If they have an o2 sensor then that'd be extra great as I'd like an indication of how my mixture is through the range ;)
Btw, dyno runs are normally around $60 a pop if you walk in off the street

O2 is deff for bikes and bits, dont know about dyno bike, but I am assuming so, as all dynos I have seen have had the o2 readout.
