Can anyone please explain the way these unit are rigged up,
a couple of questions I am thinking of are:
1. Are they powered by an internal battery within the unit or are they powered by bikes main Battery (or both)?
2. How is the Tacho sensor connected? (is it through the ignition)
3. How is the temp sensor connected?
4. For track and trail only bike which is better Vapor ($237 and has a light)
or Endurance model ($189.90)
please only answers from owners of these units that have completed
fitting a Vapor unit to their bikes. Cheers 8)

Do a bit of a search mate, all these questions have been answered, incl pictures and fitting instructions.
The trailtech site shows all the kits and instructions.
1. Hardwire to loom is best for backlight on vapor.
2. Tech sensor to coil trigger wire or wrap around s/plug lead. Vapor only.
3. Sensor slipped down edge of hose if you catch my drift. Vapor only.
4. I'd go the vapor as it has H20 temp & tacho.
I used to have en endurance on my old bike, I want a vepor for the KTM.

All that is correct apart from No 3.
You are supplied with a T-piece with a temp sensor in it, you cut your radiator hose and insert it, then use the supplied hose clamps to secure it. You can remove the 8mm sensor that is screwed into the t-piece and then use that to replace you pressure relief screw on your radiator as well depending on which way is easier for you on your bike

Depends on the kit dude.
I should have called it what they called it on their website.
"Radiator hose insert"
Best thing is you go have a look and choose the one that is prettiest.

I should buy one of these too, I've never ridden my bike with a speedo before.
