I am out pretty much every Sunday up Nebo/Glorious if anyone is keen. PM/post during the week if you coming. Open to ideas for rides, i have been out of riding for the past year and a half so i stick to old faithful Nebo/Glorious/T/Glorious/Samford/home route. I am in the Ferny Grove area so can meet up anywhere. I usually leave at around 800am from the Ferny Grove station BP.

I'm keen on this Sunday if the weather is fine - 8am Ferny Grove BP.
I'll PM my mobile
Im up here for work at the moment with the possibility to move up.
So if I do and when my busted arm has healed - I'd be very keen on this!

was a good ride yesterday - nice to ride with another tard finally.
Early morning starts mean the section across the top of Glorious is still patchy and wet - I'm a bit uncertain on that surface (wet - dry - wet  ), but it was good to have someone of similar speed to punt along with.
We really need to muster a few extras and have a group ride, perhaps after Easter.

I hear ya....
At them moment we have to pick a time where all our bikes are running at the same time! We need a bike repair status update thread, lol.

It was a good ride. I am with you on the wet dry sections, I'm not that confident yet. There is another guy that is keen for a ride as well, he is on the Overclockers forum. I hope you can convince the big fella to get a Tard.

I'm working on it, trust me. I sent him a link to the berg site, hoping that a bike faster than mine will lure him!
Passed on your details too.

Jov - Rob bought a new top triple clamp to fit the MX bars (and probably a new clutch lever too  ) did it require new brake and clutch hoses?

Good ride today. Went out by myself this morning. There was at least five other motards on the mountain. three WRs, DRZ and DR motards.
I backed it in twice for the first time on a couple of the tight turns behind Glorious. Not huge but still sideways. I have been reading a thread on here or SMJ and it seemed to help. I worked out i need to carry more speed into the corner to get the slide going. I need to work on it more as i feel i am washing to much speed of in the turn. It just doesn't feel quick or smooth enough yet.
I feel i have learnt some things today so i am happy.
