I recieved the letter telling of my lack of demerit points as in I have none :x
So its either 12 months without losing a single meassly point and get caught its 6 months of walking
Or hand it backon 7th july for 3 months ,after only 1 month of having it back and start fresh as of mid september.
It seems the speed I was caught at last october was an 'offence' so I automaticly have to make this decision.
Major bummer being the time I will be at Surfers is during bike week
What to do?

Hmm. 12 months with no points sounds hard.
Guess you've done the time so far ... 3 more months might not be so bad ... :x

Yeah I have only thought about the 3 months so far. 12 would be like work and back only as I dont have a car licence but I have had a car for 2.5 years I should pull my finger out on that :P
Riding the mini once a week will have to keep me sane I guess.

Take the 12 month option Jake and be good for a while, or at least when Mr Plod is out and about...
I have had this scenario in my house quite a few times over the years I have been riding/driving too and always manage to fluke it through the following time period... ;)
just behave and you'll be all good :D

I just went and checked over the list of things you can get done for points wise and &%@$ &%#$ piss C%&* it would appear I have more chance of avoiding a cold.
It wont stop me from a spin every now and then ;)

I'd go the 3 months. If I had managed to loose enough points to get where you are then I don't imagine I would be able to behave for a full 12 months

Hey, while we're on the subject of fines/demerit points etc, i've got a question ...
It's about those speed cameras where the car is parked alongside the road. (You with me so far?).
Let's say one is parked on the left-hand side of the road and the road is single lane, two way traffic, (no medium strip). (Still with me??).
Ok, well lets say you were driving from the other direction, (ie head on), and a bit over the limit
Can you still get done?
I believe it was the older type where the box is out the front with cable and flash attatched and it was dark and my high beams were on, (as if that makes any difference). And the flash never went off.
Basically i was fuggin flyin (in my car) and I'm a bit concerned.
Someone please tell me I should be alright!!!

Did the flash go off?
Was there an earth shattering kaboom?
That's why you should be riding your bike :D
