The rca unit is about as large as a hand (as you can see in the pic) ... not sure about the bullet cam - most are about 70mm length, 20-30mm diameter. This one has a slightly better (larger) lense, so might be a bit thicker. The cams themselves are $100 or less, so can always swap it out later.
The recording unit is a RCA RD2780 which is a general multimedia thingo with a 20gb hdd that does a/v in as well as playing. Recording resolution is 320x240 max, which appears about the same side as most stuff done on the intonet.
Of course I've only bought it for security purposes in the shed and it will never adorne a moving vehicle.

btw those RCA things are cheap ... i bought one off ebay as a factory refurbished on (warranty rep no doubt) for < $400, so you can get a fully functioning helmet ca..I mean garage security unit for < $500...

It was my right hand on the right hand post, cutting corners remember, not my head where it would be mounted... :lol:
I didnt fall off anyway just ran wide a bit on the exit as the bars slapped away happily... :shock:
