OUCH
What happened mate? :(
Neil, I did a Supermoto race this past weekend, I was in the main event in the pro am class (450) me of course on my 250f running in 3rd out of 11 about the 4th lap and I hit the table top and when i landed the rear wheel locked up, so i hooped off and looked at the rear wheel and thats what I saw. So now Im tearing the motor and tranny completely apart to make sure when it locked up that it didnt bend any of the gears inside. I might also make it a little faster :D and change the color scheme to the EMS colors.

Was the chain a bit too tight and when it went through the full range of movement from landing, it just got too stressed and broke the hub?
Or am I missing something?
No not two strokes (weight and inefficiency)!

I hope it wasn't the engine!?

My opinion is that the fact the chain runner that helps to lead the chain onto the rear sprocket was removed and the chain has in fact rode up onto the top of the sprocket with slack while in the air, and when compressing the suspension on landing, has basically ripped the sprocket and flange from the face of the hub... :?

I'd ask if this has happened to other racers, regardless of make.
Muzz may be right, but he's only one of the gods, not the GOD.
