View Full Version : VSMR Stickers

There will be stickers available soon in 2 different styles. One is a curved sticker for front mudguards, and small enough to fit a SMR guard!
The other is a little number plate with VSMR on it and script title on the lower edge just like our real ones, and measures 30 mm x 125mm.
Cost will be incurred for the guard decal as they are made by Ringmasters and are high quality graphics...

what sort of prices are we going to be talking?
do they stick well over scratches? :D

The ones Craig is doing Neil, jeez you blokes are keen, what if they look like shit eh?
They wont, they will be worth the wait. When the bromide is done you will be able to get them direct from Craig and he will let me know as soon as the first ones are done. They have a large workload at the moment and I did say to him originally that they were not urgent. I spoke to him today and they are being done ASAP.... OK?
He is also working on the Artwork and decal sets for the prototypes.

Van stickers for me were quoted at $90 per set of 2 for stretched VSMR with the script title underneath and the web address, 200mm high overall x 750mm long. I was going to get some quotes in Melbourne last time but didn't get there. Feel free if you have contacts in the graphics/signwriting industry. Creative licence applies! Email any artwork/quotes if you get any...
Wobbly
16-02-2005, 09:44 PM
Umm, I can arrange a permanent marker and a strip of 'contact' :)
But geez, $90 is a bit steep ... I do know someone who does digital printing in adelaide, but no idea whether he has any way of doing anything like that ... doubt it but i'll give him a go anyway

Buy 3 get one free! I am making these suckers in PRC as I am too stingy to pay $400 odd for another useless TALON item...Do you get the impression that I wont push TALON too far any more in the brakes stakes anyway, as they have not met customer satisfaction standards when dealing warranty returns.
Accordingly, you may purchase one of these sweet little units about to go into manufacture shortly from initially either myself or Chris,(BComponents). Pricing is still to be set but would expect to be around $150 cheaper than an EBC/Galfer/MotoMaster wave equivalent. So that'll stop you getting ripped off for brakes on your motard...
I wont go into the new hubs and wheel sets being started soon as well, cause no-one wants cheap motard wheels anyway...
I thought $1300 was too steep too!

I haven't recieved an email from Ringmasters yet as to whether they are completed yet, but imagine they are.
My idea is, as they are in Fern Tree Gully, the blokes down there will be able to collect them from there, after paying Craig of course, and the balance of the order after collections can be forwarded to me...
Sound OK to you fellas?...
Wobbly

Sounds good to me
One thing though ... I just noticed the stickers lack the "www." and the ".net" bit
Muzzard

Yeah I know, but I decided to go with the script title to identify us more so than advertise the web site...
Most folks will find us pretty easily now as we are still first hit on Google for Victorian/Street Motard/Motard Rider etc... :blob:
I can get the next lot of little VSMR number plates with the web address along the bottom as an option...

OK you Blokes, Just got off the phone to Craig and the stickers are ready for delivery... :)
After speaking with Craig it will be easier for him for me to bulk pickup the order as there is other work underway there at Ringmasters and I will be in Melbourne next week...
For all those ordering stickers, (and those with shirt/hats ordered) please drop a note with quantity required in an envelope with payment and post it up to

Roger that!
Quick question--Money order, cheque, C.O.D?
And, does the cost include postage, or do you require a S.S.A. envelope etc?
Muzzard
15-04-2005, 06:42 PM
Cheques/Money order is fine...
I will post them back if no S.A.E is enclosed Quinton no problem...
Cheques/money orders to me of course as we are not yet incorporated under the Associations Act.
Any queries P.M. me...

Update on the stickers: I don't think acerbis designed the front SM mud guards to have absolutely anything stuck to them :?
Maybe rear guard then........... #-o
Muzzard
30-04-2005, 01:12 AM
They are as Acerbis friendly as we could make them and still be ledgible...
Careful application as they are thick, they will not bubble/crease as easily...

The hats and t-shirts were arranged by Muzz, and I'm sure we can crank some more out if we have enough numbers for a run.
Let me know who wants stickers and I can post them out directly to you - just PM me your postal address details and quantities...

P.O Box details remain the same.
Shirts and hats are on preorder basis and can be styles can be selected from John Bobbin catalogue available in most uniform suppliers...
Also will be the T-Shirts with silkscreened logo on the back in full sizing to cover the shirt, but they are still working on the stencil, and its a 'lovey' so I will wait patiently for that... ;)
