Guys witch is the best way to clean a visor wich has that mirror effect without scratching it? Cause they get finger marks and all sorts of marks easily and seem to come off not so easy....

Usually warm soapy water and then Plexus plastic polish or something like that Tania.
They are a bastard for scratching easily anyway :?

I use glasses cleaner (the ones you wear, not drink out of).

There is this foaming stuff the guys at the track use and it seems really good. I will have a look at it the next time I am there and report back.

I learnt something from a Arai Tachnician some time ago but this is really only for visors.

To stop the visor fogging up on the inside, use a clean cloth with a small amount of Dish Washing Liquid on it. Rub it in woth circular motions until it is even all over the inside of the visor.

This seems to last a while plus it is cheap. If it stops working, clean it in warm water and do it again.

Warm soapy water + plexus as muzz says.

Had some average results with window cleaner, one took off my iridium coating

Mild soap or mild dishwashing liquid with warm water on a real soft cloth.
If you can get Plexus in Greece it's good for polishing it after you get the grime off and also good for giving plastics on your bike a good shine and making them look new again.
If you get bug splats on an iridium visor make sure you clean them off when you get home because if you leave them for a while the bugs guts can eat away at the coating and leave marks, especially if it's not the best iridium.
I have a strange feeling of deja vu right now.

Important thing is to rinse in water first - to get rid of any grit that might be there and will scratch if you start rubbing things around. Then Muzz +2 - I just use dishwashing liquid and water, with fingers only to clean inside and out.

Works a charm.

Tepid running water and hand soap for me, I only use my fingers as you can feel when it's clean - smells nice too!

If you've got dried bugs on the visor I soak a kitchen towel with water and leave on there to soften, baby wipes work well too if you're organised enough to do any shopping (they're also good to clean leathers)

and then just leave it to dry or wipe it with something? Tissue? Towel? or makes no difference?

I use a dishcloth to wipe dry as it doesn't leave any fibres behind

Yeah, I use these flash "fibre free" tissues we have at work that don't leave any junk behind, but standard disposable kitchen wipes work well as well...

sponge bath it - knead it - with a warm soapy sponge - no wiping then use lint free sabco (or the like) glass/chrome cleaning cloth ;)
