ok no idea what so ever if this is the right place to post this so if it is not i'm sorry and feel free to relocate / delete.
Was looking over the Fowles auction group and came across this
http://www.manheimfowles.com.au/find_buy/power_search/index.mpl?unit_key=49096_AU202207985-49096;detail_tab=vinfo;tab=make;buyer_role_id=;sal e_has_biddable=;filter_model=;fulltext=;stream=Rec reation;vehicle_type_desc=Bikes;make=Husaberg;make =Suzuki;model=;state_all=1;model_all=1;p=2;rm=view _detail
looks like it has tail damage from going over in wheelie
or who knows may have intentionally binned it cause it has 15,281 km on it?
probably get it cheap as chips for a race bike or spares as burgs like breaking :p

If I had a Berg with that many km's on it I would insure it then ghostie it into a bus. ;)

Ghostie into a bus! That's a great mental image.

I used to love ghosties on my pushei when I was a lad.

... rear ended maybe?

That's what I thought, it looks like too much damage for flippage.

Auction was great fun. The Husaberg went for $2,750 but it was a bit of a mess. the subframe was in about 3 pieces (and it's a welded part of the frame not a bolt on part) as well as foot pegs, stand and swing arm damage, and with 15,000k's on it i don't know how much life was left in the engine.

There was some ridiculously good deals like an ER6N with 450k's on it (crashed on a test ride) that went for $3,000 and just had cosmetic damage. You could have ridden it home.

The 675's both went for $6,000, i should have bought the first one, but i was hoping to get the second one for $5,000 as it was damaged on both sides instead of just one. But it went for $6,000 as well.

All in all i was impressed with the way it was run and some of the prices. For about $3,000 you could have bought any one of 4 or 5 600's from the 1999 to 2002 vintage that were rideable but had fairing damage. Perfect for street fighters. An 01 R1 went for $3,750.

I'll keep an eye on the auction list and probably try to go to the next few now that i know how it works and roughly what prices they go for.

Oh yeah, a rear ended F355 Ferrari went for $42,500!

when you are going masterspoon let me know, i've been keen to go to the auctions to have a look for a while. i was going to buy a busted 600 a while ago but gave up on that plan. always good to have a look though.
