Does anybody know how I could get a cheap set of road wheels for a 1985 Honda XL600RF which I want to convert to a super moto - somebody suggested a set of Suzuki RGV 250 wheels from a wreaker. Has anybody tried this? Do they still have brakes? What does it entail?
Thanks!

G' Day Mate,
There is several threads concerning XR600 builds and wheels etc, as well as different threads just concerning wheel building/conversions.
Neils first thread in the Building the Tard forum on his DRZ build covers wheel costs etc pretty well.
RGV wheels will fit with the rotor but caliper adaptor may be a custom build job.
Rear wheel will need to be machined as well and this can get expensive.
Try EBay for some that may be to fit something else and go from there, 10 days ago there was some set up for YFF/WRF made up from mags ex-CBR/RR, for aroung $800 I think...
My mate Sam is still going on his 98 XR600, and looking for a 32 hole rear rim in either 4.25" or 5" any colour to swap for his new 36 hole.
