Some of the TRX forum members in Melbourne are asking about running a track day at Broadford.
Track hire is $2,500 to $3,000 depending on the day, and includes ambo and marshalls. For the right day this makes $100 per head for 25 starters, not a bad price (although I can remember paying the same for PI).
Anyone here keen enough to help make up the numbers if this goes ahead.

Current plan is for a weekday in mid June.
Need some idea of commitment to firm up the whole proposal.
Sorry I don't have any more details, I'm not organising this myself.

I'll ask if the guy who is taking the lead is open to unsolicited emails.

I have been talking to Patrick at Broadford, regarding the dates available for hire. Please reply with dates marked in order of preference, rank all the weekday dates and weekend dates separately. That is weekday dates 1-5, and Weekend dates 1-3.

Weekday cost is $2500.00
The weekend will cost about an extra $800.00 per day.

Once I have received all email back - by Friday 13th - I will work out which is the most popular date. I will then reconfirm with all that this is suitable and advise. If you have mates who want to come could you also confirm the numbers for me and advise me of email addresses.

We have about 13 people + mates so far. We need 20 firm numbers to make it worthwhile.

I have also included the 19th June. This is a Champions Ride Day. Current cost is $125.00 per day, however for every 5 bookings we get the sixth for free. This equates to about $15.00 per person discount.

Basically, any day is good for me with enough planning, although saturdays are preferred. But could do fridays as well (depends on how *cough* sick I'm feeling of course... ;) ).

Might have a few more that would be interested too..... :idea:
