No, other stuff today, work comes tomorrow :(
Well, i had a damn fun day today. Went over mt dandy, monbulk, emerald and out to gembrook. then through to launchingplace. All without breaking the speedlimit (by much).
A mixture of wet and dry roads made testing the husky interesting. But overall i found it very confidence inspiring. I was surprised just how quick it could go (i could go) in the wet. Handles very nicely. If it had 160hp it would be the perfect machine (ie straights were a little boring).
Then on the way home we stopped at a local industrial park and had a play. Whoever it was on here that told me to wheelie it off idle was 100% correct. Trying to bounce it up from half way up the revrange just doesnt work, but a blip on the throttle from about 2000rpm and the front wheel is skyward.
And stoppies are a dream. Never knew they could be so easy (not that im much good at stoppies). Those wide handlebars seem to make everything feel very stable. Hell, i even scraped the footpegs.
So will i be buying my gsxr back.... hell no.

you mean it would be a berg :D
Good to hear you are loving motards and not going to go back to the evil way of road bikes. Praise the lord

:yoohoo:
Don't worry about the straights. They will only get you in trouble. Use them to let the adrenaline settle down, then back into it!
