I picked up a '89 model KX125 fully re built block so almost a brand new engine $700 spent on re build and i payed $800 for the bike...
Needs a new rear disc down the track and a new flange on the engine side but Kwaka don't have anymore in the country, i've tried a few wreckers but nothing so far.
The flange is a whole part and is part of the reed valves so i was wondering if maybe a Suzuki RM125 of similar year would work or a later model KX?
Its only the rubber part that is getting a little old and worn from the heat.

Aslo how changable are the plastics on the KX models?

Thanks

The circled part top right iswhat i'm after...

I think aftermarket reed blocks come with all of that, or do they just bolt to it?? Ash, can you confirm this.

Plastics are reasonably changable, I know late model 125/250 plastics fit on early model 500s with a few mods, so I think you should be able to graft late model plastics onto the 125.

Just pull the old bits off and have a wander around a few wreckers eyeballing parts to see if you can find any that might mate up :?:

V force reeds come ready to go with all you need! Not sure on the availability on the year though!

If you are desperate enough and/or have the patience here is a link to kawasaki parts list. You can look up different year models and check part numbers to see if they are the same.

If you really want a challenge here is the Japanese site.

I've found them good when trying to find parts for the 300.
