Is it similiar to Neils Dicky? You have a TRX also you said previously. I am looking at a low mileage TRX at the moment with a view to an addition in my shed. I love em, and some of the Aprilia's are quite nice too. :D Would like to ride an Aprilia long enough to really get an idea what the bike is all about and ride with pillion, as thats where a purchase like that for me would be steered, that, and track days of course :twisted:

I always had a plan to buy one and make it a full naked by getting the light assembly from a Triumph speed triple, but no money :(

TRX's run on a 270 degree crankshaft and that gives them that unique sound, also a unique way of developing power...
Antti is 'TRX Lord' and if he comes out of the closet, (meta-forumly speaking :lol: ) He will give you the good oil on a GYT-R Version he has! :rofl:
And, Yes he can do jumps on it Ash and wheelstand away into the mirage too!

My aprilia is up for sale at A1 at the moment ... its an RSV Mille ... dicky I think has the Falco, which is basically the same motor in a different frame without quite as much suspension adjustment, but with a hell of a lot more comfort ... the Tuono would likely be up your alley muzz, as its much like mine but with a mini fairing and a set of fat bars on it. I've got a soft spot for the new kwack Z1000 as well, especially in black :up:

But I still want to just pick up a cheap pre-89 gsxr11 and do the streetfighter thing 8)

My Aprilia is a Falco, like Neil said.
It has the same donk as the RSV's but a different chassis.
The engine is great, the chassis is up to it, but the suspension is crap.
The rear is a Sachs with bugger all adjustments.
It squats like a girl coming out of corners under power.
You can get an Ohlins to bolt in, but every time I've got 2 grand I find something else to spend it on.
It is quite comfortable, I've ridden it 17 hours non stop and still been able to walk at the end of it.

I rode it agian today, over to Healseville to watch my brother wave his gun around. (He was in the honour guard at the ANZAC march).
We went for a family picnic afterwards, and for some strange reason I rode through the bush from Mt St Leonards to Devlins Bridge.
It handles pretty good at 70kmh on the gravel, but I kept thinking "Why did I not take the KTM?"
