Hi, my name is Mez, im a Husaberg junkie, and ive never been clean and sober.

There are however, a few things i hate abt the husa.

Namely that pathetic excuse for a headlight. Not only does it look like SHIT, but it hardly works.

Does anyone know any GOOD looking aftermarket ones that actually work, or do i gotta build my own.

I was thinking of getting a race front, and putting a few 100w halogen types in. Maybe 1 for dim, 3 for bright? Would look pretty stealthy too.

I'll leave it at that for my 1st meeting, next meeting id like to talk about twin under seat pipes

If it's as bad as the 450smr Husky ones I feel for you! My push bike lights shit all over the 450's headlight, and I'm dead serious!!

I think the Berg and the SMC have the same light assembly.
I feel for you Mez.

I'm much happier with the 610 light!

Likely the same quality as the EXC by the sounds of it. Useless.

Is it a voltage/light wattage issue of just the shape and illumination?
There are a host of aftermarket ones available not all meeting compliance though,
Not that is any real issue there anyway Mez
The standard Yamaha unit fitted to the WRF is very good and I think Polisport make one very similar to that shape.

Mez, your problem is that the light points out the front of the bike, which is usually pointing at the sky.

You need to mount a light under your bike pointing downwards, then you will be able to see where you are going when uponone.

You can get race plates that have 2 of thoes little downlight looking lights already in them, but I dont think they would be any better at lighting up the road.

Dont they have street llights in WA??

LOLz... funny sh!t Sibbo
They turn the street lights off in WA when it gets dark to save power.

I guess the total amount of light isnt too bad (on brights ne way), it more the look. The berg is such a sik looking bike, and its totally ruined by that square dirtbike light.

Doing wheelies @ night IS a problem btw, cos the light shines in my eyes and i cant see sh!!t. So i turn the light off and bust one up

Also... u guys there are lucky BASTARDS u got no copper chopper (dont u?)
We got a real prick of a chopper here. The thing sits ~5k's away and takes vid of hoons, then u get a summons in the mail  they dont even bother to pull u over. Head lights pointing to the sky also seem to attract it.

One of the problems living in the only state that aint broke i guess.
