when i get yamaha to build my design for a direct injection dirt and road 2 strokes, you all will be riding them!!

the kdx 200, was it a good bike? problems? things to watch out for? cos, i am thinking of getting one to ride to work, so any info on them would be real helpfull.

so, that will be another 2 stroke for me to crap on about!

the kdx was a good bike, good usable power even when out of the band. third gear is when it starts to actually get some speed.
im not sure about the newer ones, but the brakes were shit, spongey front, and the rear would fail if the fluid got to hot.
if the one your getting is pre-97 the ergonomics would be pretty shit house.

 I had a 86 kdx with drum front end; geez it was rough. Was one of my first bikes so I thought it went bloody hard at the time.
First I got a pipe from the wreckers that didnt have a hole in it, then I put boysen reeds in it (made it even harder to ride with a bald back tyre) then I bought a rolling '89 wreck and put the forks and disc brake on the front, (and yes a $90 back tyre still wasnt feasable  )
I must say it was still going when I sold it- it could have told a few stories,
Yeah id buy another one, but yeah late model, seeing as there so cheap...
...blah... blah, blah...(sorry) :-#

I think, Bring it on '06!..
I think we are gonna sweep em in the '06 series...
I think those that dont post, should do so to bring more input to the group...
I think that if we keep pushing, the road scene for motarding will grow, as at the moment we apart from the Summer Series in Victoria are it for organised motarding...
I think thats enough...

Why do i feel like i'm one of those being talked about???

I just wanna add that i don't get much time to sit at the computer...Rather be out riding, (and i'm sure i'm not the only one) and the only reason i wrote this was due to peer pressure.

(guess i sort of felt guilty)

But i do try to contribute wherever i can. I'm gettin there.

Look out, you got me goin now!

Just wanted to also add that the time i do spend "online" is mainly spent banking, emailing, ebaying and doing a quick check of "up and coming rides", a quick scan of "for sale" and a quick look through "general chat"...and thats about it....so there!

(Phhheeeew. I'm knackered now)
