Ok, uploaded a bunch of clipped avatars for your viewing pleasure :up:

If you go to the 'profile' button up the top and then go down to the bottom there's a section for avatars. You can either upload a pic of your own, link to an av you have hosted on another site or press the 'gallery' button to find a bunch of pre-made ones. I'll continue to add some more when I get back to Melbourne...

If you want to upload your own avatar you just need to shrink or clip a picture to 100 x 100 pixels and a maximum size of 20kb. That's plenty for a .jpg file and gives you some creative freedom for a flashy animated .gif :cheers:

Yeah I have a shit load of dynamic type ones that are way too rude for here, let alone the file size seems to fuck things up a bit...

I know you've probably explained this a few times before but how exactly do you create one of those moving avatars :?: And how come if it's plenty big enough to move does it look so shit half the time I try and shrink down a jpg :?: :?:

You can download animated gif authoring programs, but they require far too much patience and effort than I can muster up :) GIFs that are reduced look like crap because they are only 256 colour, whereas JPGs have heaps available (16.7 million), and when you reduce it in size they do interesting things with all the extra colours to make the image look much better (aliasing).

And yes, your titles change as you post more, apart from those who have 'special' titles because they do something of particular notice, such as highsiding right in front of you at 5kph, trying to burn their bike down, or just because I feel particularly vindictive ;)

Btw, there's a change at 500 posts jake, but nobody with a regular title has got there yet. There's also a cool one at 1000 posts, but apart from me and muzz only Ash has got there, and I doubt we could deal with the result of that :lol:

Got to 'profile', then press the 'show gallery' button, then select 'Gallery' from the drop down instead of 'Da Tards' and press go and you should see a few flesh related avatars :)
