Noticed the sticky bits left on rims from previous balance weights. Easy way to get rid of sticky stuff. Rotate to bottom of rim. Soak in engine degreaser. Peel off.
Good luck with selling the wheel set.

Where you going?
gf is living in UK for the next 3 years doing phd ... so until i get off my ass and get over there have a trip or 2 to do :)
plus im really not using them enough ... and ive got the 1989 RM250 to do up for a project to kill myself on hehehe (brothers first bike that is gathering rust in the cousins back yard)
Hey are they my old wheels????
Bought them off me via this forum 1 1/2 - 2 years ago??
Sent them down from sydney???
Funny coincidence ....ive been riding dirt bikes since i sold them but am probably picking myself up another set of motard rims this weekend to get back into it a bit

Are the dimensions on a DRZ and an RM similar. I picked up a 93 RMX250 for $1000 today. From what I've read so far the RMX is the road registerable version? Any Suzuki nuts know if any of this is correct.

i had an RMX250 probably late 80's and from memory it was registered when i got it. but pulled all the road gear off before i went out and broke it.

Yes the RMX is in fact registerable but only with the ADR tag affixed if its a grey import.
Check the headstem, or the frame close to the headstem if it a grey import.
It will tell you whether the bike is designed to comply with ADR regulations.

I can't say for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if they did fit!.

1998 was the first year that RMX's were able to get full registration in australia. before that they were a competition only enduro version of the RM and were usually the previous years RM with some things slightly changed for offroad instead of MX ... the 1998 RMX i had i managed to fit an RM expansion chamber 2 with a couple of dents for clearance (following the diagrams supplied with the chamber)

RMX's "NEVER" went like an RM's!! My 125 will blow a stock one away, Proven time and time again!!!! But it wouldn't touch a RM250!

I haven't seen an ADR tag on it yet but I haven't checked real closely. It's got a hell of a lot of punch for a thousand bucks though.
