OK I have made a tentative booking for the weekend of the Bairnsdale track day (For the Friday/Saturday nights) in cabin style at Mitchell Gardens Holiday Park in Bairnsdale on the river. This is a cool spot, good fishing in the evening for those that way inclined, and good accommodation like Wodonga.

Ensuite Cabin......$58 per night 2 adults.
We have reservation for 1 ensuite cabin for 2 and 1 ensuite cabin for 6 on a share basis so far...

New track for Supermotard
Wednesday 06 April, 2005: 10:08 AM
Supermotard Australia has announced a date change for the 2nd round of the Yamaha Victorian Supermotard Championship at Bairnsdale due to a double booking of the track.
The event has been now moved a week later to the weekend of the 7/8 May 2005. "Our event clashed with a few major events and we preferred to move our event so we can allow as many competitors to attend as possible." said Paul Caridi from Supermotard Australia.
Round 1 at Wodonga was a success with a large crowd in attendance, coupled with an opportunity for riders to practice on the track on Saturday as well as compete on Sunday.
The final round will be held at Cobden Kart track (near Colac) on 18/ 19 Jun 2005.
Preparations are well under way for the second round with a natural terrain section designed and taking shape, which is somewhat different to the dirt that was laid down for the National event held at Bairnsdale two in 2003.
Supermotard Australia in conjunction with the Bairnsdale Kart Club have decided to not formally charge spectators for entry on Sunday and alternatively are asking for a gold coin donation. This is seen as incentive for all to come and watch the action and to become involved in the sport at minimal costs to families looking to spend the day together. Catering will be available supplied by the Bairnsdale Kart Club and other non racing actives are planned for the day. For more information call 0409 52 1034 or gemmax@bigond.com
In further news, the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Qld have acquired a new track for Supermotard Extreme, and you are invited to attend the debut event!
The new track is the Warwick Kart track, and Sunday the 17th of April will see its launch into the back-it-in excitement of Supermotard with an all bitumen practice day!
This day is a fantastic opportunity to get some practice in leading up to Round 1 of the Queensland Supermotard Championships in Gladstone at the end of this month, and also it is a great chance to get to know the track and sort out bike-set in preparation for the 3rd Club Round on the 5th of June which will be held at this new track!
The debut Warwick practice day will kick off at 10am with bikes on track till 4pm. The cost is $40 for MA licence holders or $55 for those requiring a one day licence. Sessions will be graded sessions and MA coaches will be on hand for anyone that wants some riding tips.
Bookings are essential so call 3262 6677 now and reserve your place for the day at Queensland's newest Supermotard track!

Exactly - I'm a model example of the sort of bike that they have unwittingly insured and haven't crashed it through the front of anyone's house and claimed against it ........ yet :D
I'm sure we could come to an arrangement for web site sponsorship, co-branding of merchandise, etc etc :)
