I'm trying to work out why people use bark buster on a motard?
The only reason I can come up with is lengthening the life of their leavers and possibly (if registered)to get TAC to pay for wrist surgery that they may have previously needed
Has anybody got a real legitimate reason/idea why this is?? :?:

I fell off last weekend and all I got was a scuffed bark buster and a busted indicator. No levers, no bar end damage, no ripped grips etc

Sound the same as a bar end except no risk of wrecking your wrists

Possibly with the exception of the levers.

The real question is, why are you planning on going over the handlebars? :D

it keeps the oil off your gloves, when you are following me!! i have crashed a few times and no problems with levers, throttle tube or grips. i like them for that, and my arms still work after going over the bars!

They come in handy on the road for taking out mirrors on cars of drivers who don't check their blind spot! :x

(Not that i would encourage this kind of behaviour) O:)

They'd also work well on white posts I'm betting :D

Mmmm, You do have a point there Neil. I would rather that Vic Roads removed the posts as the lousy bastards are stopping me using that extra 3' on BOTH sides!
