Yeah, Yeah,
Short notice and a double demerit weekend and fucking all,
But I'm gonna be in Melbourne tonight and wondered if anyone wanted to rip it up somewhere tomorrow morning, early!
Before the bulk of the windowlickers and Plodsicles get moving.
Seeing its a weekend, even cut a few stupid sessions in an estate somewhere might be cool.
Will be in the Eastern Suburbs, close to the Mountain Hwy link, Tourist Rd, Spurs,
Copious amounts of industrial road.
Anyone want to 'speed' up Saturday morning with me somewhere and then 'lick some steam' in Ringwood at the shops?

Thats tonight then Angus.
Any suggestion as to where and what.
Maybe check out this joint 'Bells', in Sth Melbourne?
Where do I find it if we were to meet there?

Dunno about Bells, do you mean Justin's recent favourite hangout?
Muzz - Bells is on Moray St in South Melbourne.
Moray St runs parallel to Clarendon St which is the main street in South Melbourne (Clarendon becomes Spencer St over the bridge).
If you are coming from the City, down Clarendon St, Moray is off to your Left it's the next parallel street if that makes sense, for the pub, Turn left off Clarendon at York St (before the Coles Supermarlet)
Angus - You are thinking of Kittens, not far away - It's on Cecil St near the corner of City Rd, next to the Reece plumbing showroom.

Bell's could be a goer tonight, it might be a good night to go and see him although it could be quite busy.
Give me a call if you wish to head there.
I'll be drinking water tonight lol.
It's isn't my recent hangout Angus, it's just he's very well known to be club friendly and the Ducati Club & Nissan Car Club and a few other clubs have their meetings there.
He has a fairly big rear projection tv and a PA system for club use, the meals are very well priced and you get a heap on your plate to boot. :)
As for the other place Paul mentoned, you don't need to twist my arm that hard on that one either. ;)

Sweet, I wasn't sure!
I happen to live on the corner of Moray and Bank St's - how far down Moray is it? I can't picture it, but I don't usually notice the scenery when I'm practising wheelies between the roundabouts :D

OK, I think Ive got it.
I can follow Spencer St across the river and then be in Clarendon St right?
Then just swing left at Market St (York St is one way by my Melways  ) and go up one block, turn right and should find the pub on that street somewhere?
I aint gonna even hit Kilsyth until about 8.30pm so its a late one as far as I'm concerned, maybe not getting into Sth Melbourne until about 10pm, all being good.
I dont drink anyway Justin, so I'll join you on the Sarsparilla mate ;)
Gonna be too late for you others?

It's on one of those round-a-bouts.
The Indian Cheif pub is on the other round-a-bout.
Opposite those lovely government flats.
I just googled it. It's on the cnr of Moray & Coventry. :)
I just sent Muzz a text saying 'give me a call when you get to Melb'
He's a map for anyone else who can make it short notice.

Billy Bell's is closed today by the looks.
I'm heading down that way soon to meet Angus for a feed close to Bell's so if it's not I shall re-post accordingly.
He might be getting an Australia Day award or the like or just having a well deserved day off:

All good,
Met up with Angus and Juz outside Angus' place, chatted for a bit then off for a quick lap of the GP circuit followed by a cruise and coffee in Ackland St.
Looked at the scenery and decided to call it a night via Chapel St. so Angus could pop some eardrums and ping some car alarms ;)
Down to Ringwood this morning for a looksee, but weather wasn't friendly and still on slicks, so didnt venture too far.

In fairness the V-rod isn't quiet... and we heard you coming from inside my place.
Still, opening it right up in front of a copper wasn't my shining moment :?
Lucky there was no wheelie action.

That's ok Ash,
It's fast, I'll give it that.
It just has issues with handling, braking, asthetics & weight and the brand written on the tank which is not really a tank, it's an airbox, lol.
It's a darn sight better than walking though. ;)

If he's reading this he needs to trade both his bikes in and get a real one. ;)
I just came back from South Gippsland through Neerim, Poweltown & Yarra Junction etc.
I thought it had decent ground clearance but when I got a bit enthusiastic through one section of state forrest the screaming eagle pipes got a little road rash.
It's ok, I'll let my old man tell his mates he did it.
I was trying to get the chicken strips off for him but it seems the RHS of the rear tyre is going to be chicken stripped forever. :)
