Looking at the vids the Bears thing seems to be road & tard all mixed together, I take it then that the race an practice session is just going to be on the road section?

On that note, when is broadford open for the Motard track? I see there's a drawing of a motard section off ther main circuit, so who uses it?

I'll be down there on a Ducati 888, should be number 28(Dragon Tyre Warmers), come and say hi. You wont miss us they will be two of the best prepared 15 year old bikes you will see, unless of course I crash it !

ooh, 888 that's my second favourite Ducati (apart from the Supermono) I remember Carl Fogarty riding one at the NW200 (92?) - He might be an arrogant a55h0l3 but he had talent and that bike was super fast. It just whupped the rest of the field which included Joey Dunlop (RC30) and one of the Britten bikes.

Not quite done yet but getting there, it will be finished in about two weeks, oh then I have to learn to ride a twin, never riden one let alone raced one. Never been to Broadford either. Should be interesting.

At this stage, I will probably not be doing the racing, due to the bike not being ready in time, as I will be waiting for a replacment complete brake system from Germany. And there is no point me paying my entry fee if I dont have a bike to ride.

I still need more time at the track, cos I am 3 seconds off the pace. Most of the F5 guys run 1.10 or atleast 1.11 fastest lap times. I have only run a 1.14 there, although it was wet for most of the day. I could say run a 1.13 with a few improbments, maybe a 1.12 if lucky, but I am still going to be last.

Thats why I need more time there and a bike I know will be tested and ready.

Enjoy the day and I look forward to seeing your report on the race day.

I am on a berg you bastard!

And I was trying to not crash, for once and insert other excuese, thats right it was bloody wet. All the sports bikes got in the way on the corners and in the braking area, slow poofs.

The results are up for the first round of BEARS at Broadford. The worst part is that if my bike had of been ready, or at least if I had of known my bike was going to be ready and could of booked with confidance, knowing I would have a bike to ride...bla bla bla

Anyway, long storie short, I would not of come last....argh!!!! I hate knowing that I would of been at least competitive in F5.....bastard brakes!!! Next year lads and I will be there.

Why can't you just start now? Are there any more BEARS rounds on offer locally this year?

Not what your wife said last night!
There is only one round of BEARS at broadford this year, but there must be other stuff as well at Broadford that race singles. Might have to have a little look see.

Formula 4 in club racing normally has a mix of heaps of stuff, including both supermono and supermoto...

Bullshit shane, flat 57's you would hold the outright lap record.
See here: http://www.motorcyclingvic.com.au/broadford/broadford_records.htm
Next you will be telling us you are the Thai Supermoto Champion or something. ;)
