Hi,
thought I would introduce myself, been hanging around bikes for approx. 30 years. Started on dirt bikes then moved to street with a bit of racing in there, wasn`t very gifted as I had a hard time to keep the shinny side up and the rubber side down :D

Broke my back (L1) ice racing last January and that gave me plenty of time to think. Time flies, might as well make the most of it. So I went to my KTM dealer and gave a deposit on a KTM525EXC 2005 :D

I am kind of computer illeterate and english is a second language so be patient with me, although a bit of aussie irreverence is expected :)

Sorry I was a bit long. I`ll post some questions in the building a `tard section that I hope you`ll be able to answer.

Salut.

Always Welcome here matey! Good to hear you are making a return to the bike ranks! I too broke my back last year not ice-racing, but broke it all the same... I broke mine @ T6/T7/T8, and then @ L4/L5/S1 as well as a few ribs chucked in for good measure and to make sleeping just that bit harder! I was back on the bike fairly quickly, and seem to have made a reasonable recovery... Most of the blokes on VSMR are converts from other motorcycling disciplines, and between us we have a wealth of knowledge to share. Hope you like your ride, and manage to keep it upright... :D

Welcome aboard TP!

Always great to have a new face around!

Where about are you located? English is a second language for me as well. My only problem is that I don't have a first one

Hmm, is there such a language as drunk-lish? :-k

I've met a few canucks, both here in Oz and also in Switzerland and India.
My liver still hasn't receovered.
Mad as cut snakes, every one of them.
