Shit ay. Looks a little like a roller out of the 2 stroke big end.

Or something as simple as a crankcase locating dowel ... how it ended up disconnected from its proper location is something of a worry though :P

The question would be .... do you risk not doing a total tear down? :-k

If it were mine I'd take it back and say this came out and there is still a year and a half to go on the warranty, what do you want to do....

I'm with Ash on that one too, I like to see some benefit from my warranty...
Looks to me like the locating dowel from out of one of the selector forks, but it wouldnt be getting too many gears if it were...
Maybe its a spare part needed for a turbo conversion and Husky were feeling generous and put one in each crankcase for good measure?..
All the same, I'd be pissed off if I had a bit of my motor inside my hand and not the engine cases! :?

ouch, i wouldn't like to find extra bits floating around in my engine.
I did find bits missing when i did the first oil change, but as ktm reckon you void the warranty if you change the oil yourself i just fixed it myself and kept riding.
hasn't blown up on me yet.
