What a wild concept as a conversion, have seen the ATV conversion a few years back at a trade R & D day that uses a ski conversion that mounts and pivots from the stub axles with the removal of the wheel and drum/disc brake assembly. The rear was a track conversion that utilised the third wheel configuration like a caterpillar crawler which made the tracks triangular under the rear guards. The whole drive was enclosed and fitted by the removal of rear wheels only. Using the unit found that getting air was out, as the track assembly seemed to tramp badly when landing in fact trying to turn the whole assembly backwards on its own axis! Bad shit my friends. Would appear that this new beast has an identical setup as the newer versions of the sport snowmobile technology like the R1 Yamaha beasty... :shock:
I dont know if it is the same manufacturer or refined technology by new enterprise...
