I spoke to a KTM salesman a couple of days ago who said they did wheels, front disc, sprocket, caliper, master cylinder and brake line for $2600. Bloke selling above item reckons that's the price just for wheels, disc and sprocket. :-k

I know this may come as a suprise but Nig's smr 450 is potentially up for sale. I just lost my best mate 10 days ago to another motorcycle accident.

I think I have to stop riding.

Its a fuckin joke.

My best mate and my right hand man at work was commuting 1000k a day on a Hysong 250. He got it cause he didnt want to go stupid on a big bore sporty, even though he had the big bike licence.

So he is riding home, minding his own business. He approaches a T junction to make a simple left hand banking turn. Probably only doing 30-50. I could go round the corner that fast in my shitty Navara ute.

So he banks into the turn, with a clear view to the right being 100% sure nothing will be in his lane.

As he turns his head forward to roll out of the corner and onward down the road he sees a fucking Nissan patrol with a dirty great bull bar.

He hits, the brake, goes over the handle bars, straight into then under the car.

Lacerated chest, severed artery and head injuries.

The wanker that took him out was over taking a truck on a double white line approaching the intersection.

I hope he rots in jail and has night mares every night of his life as he remembers my mate bleeding to death on the side of the fucking road!!!

Sorry to vent, but I am so fucking angry with the world right now.

Someone was telling me about an ER nurse buying a bike (I think it was a salesman). The big question: "What are YOU doing buying a bike? Don't you see all sorts of people fucked up and dead from riding?"

The answer: "I see more people come in completely fucked up from having fallen over in the bathroom, or walking up the stairs drunk. Shit can happen no matter what, why not enjoy it."

Test rode an ex-demo 06 WR450 with a pipe and little wheels today.

Last decent bike I've had was a yz426 back in 99. Forgot how much damn fun they are, and had no idea about how well they hook up on the street.

I've heard people say it before, but it's true, that thing over on the right side of the bars really should be called Dial-A-Wheelie.

If Jakesteins still getting rid of his I'll have a look at that. Ive really got my heart set on a 525EXC though.
