I think it is $125 for the day plus $25 for a day license. $50 to hire gear.

Can't you make it to the MV day on Fri 9th James?
The Sunday might have to be done too, want your trailer back Steve? You might have to give me a lift up or I'll hold it ransom.

You guys should come down to tailembend off the top of my head $85 including rec licence and camping sat night plus evening riding until dark then a few beers the money you save from broadford could go to fuel and with a few of you going together may be cheaper:D
Plus real Motard track with new dirt section
Have a think about it
We are Vic friendly even just ask Markee;)
Cheers

Took the Mini-motard to broadford on saturday.
we had to change the gearing so it wouldn't rev out in 5 seconds, so we managed to fit an 18 front and 34 rear sprocket, which on paper when valve bouncing in 4th should get me to 155km/h. After a couple of session we decided to actually test to see how fast we were going. With a quick app store search and download of a free iPhone app for gps speed, we taped an iPhone to bike and set off... the GPS said 90.5mp/h max speed, so translated into metric it is 145km/h, but no matter how much we ducked down and tucked in, it just wouldn't rev out. But there is definitely room for improvement with a few custom sprockets, weight saving and plastic mods to get a few more km/h out of it. But the best fun was overtaking guys on R1's around the outside of the corner and then seeing them get annoyed that they go over taken by a litle bike and force them into making a mistake. But everyone was very suprised at the speed, but mostly the cornering ability of the mini.

Really enjoyed that, I love the way the motard gets left behind on the straights and then comes flying up behind entering into the corners. Nice riding!

What would the spec comparison be between the squid and motard
Motard Squid
450cc 600cc
60rwhp 110rwhp
105kg 165kg
not bad against a bike with double the horsepower but less than double the weight.

60 rwhp for a 450 ? Mine gets 47rwhp in stock trim you would need a lot of mods to get 60 I recon.
