Anyone know what a set of KX125 fork seals costs offhand? I have the opportunity to get some forks from a 98 for $500 that could be bolted up to the KDX just with pressing out the stock headstem, but they need new seals... just wondering whether to grab them or wait for another set...

Fork seals for a kx are about $28 or so bucks.
They are the same as yamaha (04).
Before you replace the seals, wipe the seal with the feeler guage and see if that does the job. It might just be a little bit of grit in there.

Also measure the sliders for wear as they may be under size in the main part of the travel.

Ariete make a good aftermarket fork seal and they are affordable.
Available in most decent bike shops or orderable.
If you PM me the year & bike of the forkidge you arew contemplating purchasing I can get them at a good price for you.
If you know the OD, ID, Depth and if they are stepped/lipped seals I can get them for ya. :)
