G'day, well I serviced the DRZ yesterday arvo and came across somthing a bit strange or somthing I havent seen before......... I dropped the oil out and did the filter, no dramas there, however as i looke down the filler hole on the frame I noticed some white slimy crap just around the bottom of where the dipstick screws in???
I have seen water in oil and no what that looks like , however never seen this, looks like the head of a VB!!
Any one no what this is.............(MAybe the DRZ has been knocking of my beers of a night!! LOL.)
Any ideas???
Cheers

How much is there? The reason I ask is that you could have a head gasket leak or a crack allowing water in, otherwise it could just be condensation from when the motor is cooling down and mixing with the oil vapur. both of these will leave a white mess.

Short blasts will do that 666; even though the coolant heats up pretty quickly it takes a good 10-15 minutes for everything else to get nice and hot. It takes far less time for the problems sibbo mentioned to manifest themselves however (can even occur in a matter of seconds under the right conditions)...

I can't read your posts sibbo, I get stuck on the avatar and attachment; then I can feel the white-frothy residue problem beginning to rear its ugly head...

Yeah condensation might the culprit, there is defiantely no water in the oil that I drained out just white slimy shit around the filler plug.
Or the bike could be getting excited.................

Or the bike could be getting excited.................
you have to do big wheelies, to let the frustration out, otherwise it builds up in the oil, sort of like blue balls.
YA YA YA YA YA YA YA YA BOING BOING BOING BOING
Its condensation. If it was a leak all of your drained oil would look like that.

How old is your bike? If it's new, or had a recent rebuild, I'd say it would be excess three bond from the cases.
