Looking for around an 03 model.
Obviously motard trim, will consider almost anything!

G'Day QDogg, Depending on how much you want to spend, there is some secondhand Bergs in the current Bike Trader that might be worth a look. KTM are doing silly deals still on 04 LC4 640's, around $11000 on road.

Yeah thanks for the advice.

I've just sold my fireblade (03 model) and want to get into motards. I just love the whole concept and the article about motard etiquette just confirmed my thoughts!

I'm only wanting to spend around $8 to $8.5k, so 11's a bit out of my price range. Basically i don't want to jump in the deep end if you know what i mean.

Anyway, after ringing around a bit, i think i'm definately gonna go for the 'berg. 80% of my riding will be on road (i guess) and i've been told that the huskys don't have a counter-balance and vibrate like mad.

Anyway, i'll keep looking, but having no ride in summer sucks the big one. :x

QDogg, P.M. Danno he has a 650 Berg with over 100 hrs on it now and he would be happy no doubt to give you the good oil on it. :D
Being in Traralgon you would get some nice motarding down along the Strezleckis, Mirboo North way.

QDogg, don't think the balance shaft is magic or there to remove vibration. My '04 FS650 has 118 hours on it and it only minimises the vibration at legal speeds (also got (9,800km). They tell me the '04 was a turning point for ignition and reliability, so keep that in mind. Apart from that it is the most fun you can have pants on or no....
