First ride to be posted on the new site, tomorrow :D . So who's allowed out to play? I will be unloading in Healesville at about 11.30am and would be looking for a riding buddy or two. Gotta meet the missus again later in the day, either Mooroolbark or Blackburn Nth...Anyone?...Muzz...

Sounds like fun .... just a shame I'm still stuck in Adelaide with no bike! Actually, that's not entirely true, my brother's ducati is in the shed here, but no real bike  :la:

Ducati...YUCK!... Clutch rattling, oil sapping, friggin desmodronics!... Now the real world! I unloaded the bike in Healesville at the outlaws around midday, and after a quick cuppa blasted off in the direction of Mt. Donna Buang. Heading up Don Rd, I swung right onto Dalry Rd at the top of the hill and headed down the dirt, which was more like slush, until I came across a bridge that was closed off as a huge Ash tree had fallen across it completely obliterating the right hand side of the bridge and its beams. Taking the warning on board and a hand full of throttle to go with it, I made the crossing and continued on down towards Launching Place. The dirt had dried a bit further down the road so faster I went. Before long I had grip again and the last section of the road was attacked with abandon. I passed one cooter mowing his nature strip at warp factor 9, before duly impressing his next door neighbour with about 120 feet of smokey slide into the left hander washing off about 100 kph in the process. Departing that location quickly, I headed off towards Woori Yallock. From there I went easy until Wandin then started 'backstreeting it' across to Mooroolbark. On the way I went up Charles Rd in Mt.Evelyn a one way street that traverses the hillside before getting to Lilydale. During the 30/40's it was a timber railway and has some gnarly humps and jumps along the hillside. Now it has been sealed it is a good awakener for the reflexes if your game to ride it at speed! From there to Ringwood, check the shop scene. (Peter Stevens, A1, Nova Honda.) After that I cut a heap of corners (backstreets) around the Heatherdale/Mitcham/Nunawading area. Reloaded the bike in Blackburn Nth at 6.30pm and drove back to Wangaratta. I had a damn good day, Did you?...Muzz...

I went my nieces to the cinema and saw 'the incredibles' and then collected some shells at the beach with them.
