There are a few track days out at ipswich kart now, so thats what i have been doing.

There's a track day at the QR Kart track, Ipswich this Wednesday (20th) evening 4-10pm (tar only). Then there's a practice day on the Saturday (23rd) dirt aswell, before the racing on Sunday.

I'll be out there for the wedesday, hopefully a bit on Saturday, and racing Sunday.

I'll be on an 06 SMR510.

The 510 is going well. I had my first race last wekend. What a blast. I've come from road bikes, with very little dirt bike experience, so have alot to learn.

Hey boages, I've got the date of all the practice days and I've decided I'm going to get into the race scene since I can't be bothered racing the GSXR at the 'track' up here (QLD raceway)
I'll be back in QLD in 3 weeks so I'll be getting the ball rolling then. Can't wait.

Jovian - How often do the trackdays happen at Ipswich? Who runs them? cost etc? I'll be looking for somewhere to ride in the new year.

every saturday night plus two a month during the week

35 weekend, 65 weeknight

have a go mate but i not sure u would get to many tards on the sunnie coast. but worth a try cause the track is fully lit at night etc...
