Let's do it again

Starting at the shell servo in Jimboomba head out to Kerry and onto Duck creek rd. it is a nice uphill dirt rd to O'reilys and then Down through Cunangra. Where we stop for an ICY bevo and a feed at the Canungra hotel, Up the hairpins to the goat track into Tamborine and back

Have run Duck Creek Rd before with Vagrant and XXX and had a ball. I am going to give it another go..Ayone can join me and make me look slow :up:

Hey Tony meet at jimboomba shell at 8.30 sat morning, there is some dirt track that is good fun and some great bitumen twisties. Great ride IMO.

Road tyres are fine, it's a 4wd track we ride on and it's seems ok, unridable in the wet though, so will be watching the weather this week. See you there

What an absolute blast! Those bitumen roads are great and the dirt....well that was just insane! Duck creek rd is great for motards! XXXX that section you showed us was tops, pretty intense though!
I need to clean the Berg today as I promptly took myself to the pub when I got home :) I hope the mrs is well Matt and Dan I hope your not to sore. Can't wait to see the pics and vids!!

What a great day, The first dirt section seemed to go quick, and then had an absolute blast trying to keep up with danmoto and DRZStevo coming down from o'reillys, a quick beer and the tambo goat track followed by a down hill run and into some dirt jumps... and more jumps.... and more jumps(sore legs today). we got lost in the bush and a couple of dismounts to finished the day off.
I hope you're not feeling to sore Dan, no damage I hope?
The wife turned out to be OK.

That was total CHAOS! Best ride day ever. great selection of roads fellas, i loved it how after duck creek its straight into black twisties... then into hectic jumps! couldnt do that on a Tuono! hahahaha. MOTARDS ARE AWESOME! Great to meet you fellas!

Couldnt walk yesterday so got an xray and the doctor prescribed a spoon full of cement...seriously! LHS ankle and leg +RSH knee still massive. Bike needs a few bits but is a good excuse to go shopping. I work next a bike wreckers so thats sorthed out the Master Cylinder and brackets rqd. Looking for new front guard and RHS radiator Shrouds. Any one know the best cheap plastics?

Have a fair few pics but they are quite big. Ill put as many up as i can. PM me your email address and ill send em all over!

Was out and about with a mate on the weekend, it was only supposed to be a quick one but
somehow we ended up at Duck ck Rd, Halfway up the still wet roads the XR400 goes over and
hits the only rock in sight... oil immediately starts pissing out and puts an end to the fun.
Long story short it cost a carton but we got home eventually and managed to wash the dust down with
a couple of cold ones.

Cant wait to do it again.....

Really stuffed now tho, the last bit of playing in the dirt took it out of me.

Haha, I was actually just rolling it back and the wheel dropped into a rut and unbalanced me enough, The pic doesnt quite show how steep it is and I ended up running as I stepped off it to keep upright.
Twas the only lay down of the day too. :D

Jimboomba to Coomera is about 120klms i usually ride out and then up the highway, i think i do about 250klms in a round trip from Wynnum. I quess we need to set a new date?
