Anyone keen for a track day in Sydney?

Oran Park GP circuit (not motard track), Saturday 14th October, $120. Last one had about 12 - 15 motards there. . . kicking supersport arse.

I might bloody well have to.. .

What stuff is needed to be done for the bike? Lock wires etc?

Full body leathers?

Bike is 50% done, should be completed by tomorrow.

If i get my hands on some leathers i'll be there but fuel is a real problem to me, unless someone is driving and i;ll chuck in for some jerry cans...

I have a ute and usually take a drum of fuel with me anyway.

I've never ridden with "champions ride days", so i'm not sure of they'requirements. But usually there's no need for catch bottles, lockwiring. or any of that stuff. They will check brakes, tyres, chain slack, throttle return etc.

Circuit breakers ride days don't require leathers, but i think this group does.

Just noticed they hire leathers too. $50 including boots and gloves.

Ride report:

A fun day was had by all (all 2 of us). Great reports for Champions ride days, only 3 groups for the day, with about 5 in group A, 15 in Group B, and 30 in Group C. Very well organised, with C grade getting a couple of slow laps led by the organisers before being let loose on their own. Amazingly well prepared GSXR600 race bikes and leathers were available for hire, and race coaching was available (for a price).

Here's me and Dave, having a little battle. . . I won :finga: :poke: (just muckin around)

There's 2 days on December 2 & 3 (one's circuit breakers and one's Champions Ride Days). I'll definately be doing one or the other, anyone else interested?

Any Sydney siders keen?

They hire leathers, boots and gloves for $50 if anyone needs them.
