Before the next track day comes around, 16th Sep, can someone post any pics of Bergs been catch bottled for GCR compliance please.
The main reason I ask is so Sibbo cant say his 'bike wasnt prepared, I couldn't find anywhere to put them' type statements on Friday night the 15th  ...
We are endevouring to get all bikes onto GPTC to be at least compliant to fuel and oil please.
Anyone able to post pics of their handywork is encouraged to do so.
Makes it easier for the newbs ;) ..

Does that mean a kart track day on Moto GP Sunday? After your rant last time I was looking forward to coming to the next one. Show some demand and all that. I've only just started on this motard lark, and don't want to miss out on this track.
Also, I take it this is a request to have a catch tank on all bikes?

Kart track, GPTC, the day before the GP, Saturday 16th Sept ;) ...
To be as compliant as possible and to save any debate with the other shared session track users, I ask that you at least make an effort to catch bottle oil and fuel overflows.
Its not a demand but a good preparation tool for any track access as is lockwiring for GCR's.
The fuel overflows can be routed into a bottle together, and the sump breather attached to the airbox drain on most bikes will suffice in this instance.
There are kits around, but if you are a bit tricky with ordinary supermarket style tupperware, or even the spun alloy 250ml drink bottles in assorted anodised colours ;) ...
I used a sauce bottle  behind the headlight unit for the fuel tank, and everything else normally routes into the airbox drain.
If you fit the one way breather valve off a Yamaha fuel tank breather, not much fuel will be spilt anyway so small volume bottles are acceptable.
There are several units for sale at the moment on EBay that might give you some ideas.

Cheap as shite option for me ;)
Firstly on the DRZ I made up a little aluminium mount out of some sheet cut after I made a cardboard pattern, then wrapped and beaten into shape around an old aerosol can :) before being finally bolted on to the stator cover and a ex-degreaser bottle used as a catch tank. Just routed all the lines out the bottom of the carb, cable tied them together and fed them into the bottle. I didn't do anything with the breather from the head as it already ran into an integrated catch tank and then vented onto the back of the rear shock.

On the husky I was even more lazy in just bundling the overflow lines together and running them into a V bottle which I zip tied to the frame :D

Total cost between the two was about $3.50, and I was going to drink the V anyway ;)
I won't make it next weekend as my bro is flying in on thursday and we're heading down the island that evening, but I don't think I'd put up much competition hobbling around the track anyway

I think it is a KTM part, most of the small things on the berg are KTM parts. Mt headlight has KTM stamped on it.

Muzzard,
I got a couple of CR 500 seats resculpted (to increase the height by an inch) , and my old man got a replica corbin seat for his BM made by a guy in adelaide that was calling himself Eldorado restorations. He did a fantastic, highly professional job and only charged me about $100 each (I don't know what the old man paid, but the workmanship on that job really was first rate). I think his phone number is 08 8333 0644.

Let me know which set up you have when you order them.
