Ok here it is
The 2011 Hartwell Rounds remaining are :
June 4&5th at Phillip island
August 20/21st at Broadford
Oct 29/30th at Mac Park
These are the targets for Victorian riders. This series was chosen due to it having a "supermono" class giving us a greater chance of being able to show serious numbers with the outlook to getting a separate race rather than mixed with thunder bikes etc.
I understand the Aprilia's are in "thunderbikes" but they look like the rest of us in "supermono" and will give a greater visual effect of better numbers..
I will coordinate to :
*ensure everyone is entered,
*make sure we have a unified presence at the track (ie we pit/camp/take over an area together),
*If needed, help sort transport for those without,
*arrange an systemised approach to required tools etc req (ie no point everyone taking tool boxes etc, we can leave some behind and guys can take pit tents etc where they have room)
*assist (where possible) to get peoples bikes ready who haven't raced etc before (this may mean a couple of us rock up for some shed sessions to help people)
*I can help acquire parts, oil etc to get bikes ready. I am also looking at carrying spare bars, grips, oil etc to race meets. (general crash spares that guys can buy cheap in an emergency - thanks Markee for this idea)
I will be doing this via pm, phone and email.
For those looking to do the remainder of the series (be part of the above), SEND ME A PM.. I will take it from there. I am looking to get a minimum of 8 guys onto the track.
I will do the same for "Masters of Mac Park" in the future...but not yet..
Can I ask that people DONT write in this thread, all questions etc are to be pm'd. I will ask mod's to delete anything posted (not by me) in this thread. This thread is for updates and info only..
