Just got word from good source.

QLD Police have expanded unmarked bikes to 12, all look like normal street machines.

Major crackdown is scheduled for Tamborine, Beaudesert, Sunshine Coast, Esk, Mt Glorious, Mt Mee, Mt Nebo areas for March.

ALL bikes to be pulled over & compliance/rego/licence checked.

Police are monitoring webs, forums & infiltrating Riding Clubs etc to obtain Ride Calendars to coordinate efforts

3+ faults/strikes = bike impounded under Hooning laws.

Please pass along

Jesus. I knew it was becoming a police state. Just didn't realise it had already completed the process. Can't wait!

Sneaky bastards.

How do you get the job of riding through the twisties all day on a government owned motorbike, chasing down arseclowns and enjoying the Qld sunshine?

I'm in the wrong game.

Dualstar mirrors, custom headlight, no rego holder, shorty #plate mount, no inner rear guard, no chainguard and the way I ride.....:D pretty sure I'd be walking if they wanted to be cnuts about it.

Those dual star mirrors shouldn't be an issue, as I just had similar ones pass a RWC down here in Vic (as long as they are functional). So that's one less thing for them to get you on :P

yep, dual stars aren't a problem in Vic

Yeah I was in Melb. when I fitted them, needed the stockers for the RWC when I moved back up here so I'm thinking they may ping me for them......

More a case of being an easier target for their weekly quota and cash for Captain Bligh . A lot more paper work if they actually catch a real criminal.

Spot on jinx, Someone tried to snatch a kid from my daughters school yesterday, surly their time and resources would be better spent tracking down perpetrators of real crime

True, the have to chase real criminals. They can just wait in the shade on the side of the road for us......

I just wish they sit there and ping all the dummies talking on their mobile phones while driving...

Sounds like another good reason to take your bike to the track. Come out to Stanthorpe and have fun without getting hassled by the rozzers!

March 12th & 13th Qld Supermoto Championships, Round 1

2011 QLD Titles Round 1 Stanthorpe - March 12/13 - SupermotoAus

Come and watch real Supermoto racing, and you can even take your bike on track in the non-competitive novice class which is run in-between the Championship races. Great for those riders who want to experience the thrill of Supermoto racing without the pressure or expense. It's just like a trackday but only for Supermotos!
