Atujara Motorcycle Club will be holding an open track day for all at Mac Park, Mt Gambier on the 5th March 2011.:D

See below for details, any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Current Atujara Members ride at a reduced cost, all others must take out one day membership as per the cost sheet below.

Please note the costs include Paramedics on site for the day and hence the costs may be a little higher than normal.

This is a safety precaution and we only run our days with paramedics on site so if needed, they are there immediately if the occasion presents itself.

Motards are welcome.

We will run seperate sessions if required to suit rider ability.
We encourage all South Aussie (and other states:eek:) Tarders to come and give it a go as Mac Park is by far the best track in SA that suits Motards.

If you have ridden Tailem bend, then you will love Mac Park

Limited numbers, so all will have good track time. Book now!:D

Thinking about coming along just wondering if you need full leathers or does leather jacket and separate leather pants cut it. also do you need peg sliders?
cheers

Two piece leathers should be ok as long as they zip up together and the zip travels most of the way around your waist. Peg sliders are always a good idea, track or street.

Donny,
Leather jacket and pants will suffice for the ride day but as Don has said above, Zip together is prefered and always best. (If you were to enter a race meet then they MUST zip together).
We are trying to create interest and not scare people off.

Peg sliders are not a requirement at Mac park (yet) but if ya plan on backin it in, ya want to make sure them funny little roadie riders dont run over ya feet while they're hanging out there in the breeze!:D

Cheers,
Dumpy

Haha, thank god no Muzz.
My time is split between family, work, another sport and community volunteering commitments, unfortunately (for me) the latter falls on that weekend.

Who is coming out for this?
The club running it needs to see motards aplenty to make sure they KNOW there are enough motards out there to make their interest in the sport viable!?

Or are they just going to be disappointed like others before them?! Lots of talk about people wanting the sport to move forwards and here is someone willing to give us a place to start in an established club that has the history behind it to get things going?!

Its a good way to ride a BIKE only track too!!
My place to stay is booked!!I am going even if I dont have my motard wheels sorted.
I am going out on my skinny tyres to help with the day!!!

Yeah I can't make this one. Work, family, work, family, more family commitments, + I'd like to get out to the April TB track day so saving the coin.

We will be camping at the track Friday from 5pm and Sat night, so if you want to come down and get your paper work filled out Friday night to speed up the process on Sat Morn then feel free.
Camping at the track is $10 per person per night. That money goes straight back into Mac Park for it's future.

Ok, we still have 9 spots left available for the track day.!
If any body is still keen we will take late commers up until Wednesday night but after that is only a slim possibility.

Weather looks to be good and plenty of track time to be had.

See ya down there!

Good weekend had by all but a couple and one of those was only a Ducati!
Broken collar bone and rib for his efforts and a nice shiney green whistle for his nice smile!:D

Donny33 below having a terrible time of punting his Husky SMR around and guess what Twatty?
It ran all day with no problems! Go figure!

Pitty we didn't have a pic of Doms near hiside out of club house corner though!

This bloke below was quick and I thought my CR500 liked doing wheelies!
This bloke was pulling wheelies for 3/4 of the main straight just to get over the bumps!

I'm not surprised by any of that, Huskies are some of the most reliable bikes out there as long as you do your research and don't buy an '08 model (sorry Dumpy). I hear there was a sweet super-blinged DRZ getting around with a Gimp on board, any pics of that?
