As has been the past few years, I have been meeting the blokes from http://www.mcnews.com.au following the GP, and riding like you stole your bike with them for 2 days or so up here around Bright.
There is a lengthy thread already developed on McNews now http://www.mcnews.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=317890&posted=1#post317890
and if you have the RDO coming, I suggest you hook in and come up for the blast.
There will still be some snow about I think this year so it may also add to the excitement, even if only for those who run wide on the corners!
Does tend to produce generous outta the corner powerslides...

Anyway,
Its usually good riding, and Neil will no doubt fill you in on the social activities after dark...

Unfortunately I'm a no-show for the ride, as i've already had to can some holiday time due to shite at work :( In fact my bro will be working out how to get himself to the airport because of said problems

But its a dang good trip, there should be a good bunch of reprobates from mcnews, and it always makes for some good drunken suspension tweaking if nothing else  :lol2:

Mmmm,
Drunken suspension tweaking, those were the days...
Now I have to denegrate myself to such a drug induced coma I cant tell which side of the road I'm supposed to be on :smokin: ...

Until the white posts start hitting the handlebars =P~ ...

If your not able to make it, and Antti is too big to tell to 'go anyway', Kimo's ditching the wheelset for the DRZ, Cal wants to be (but is stuck with his sportbike ;) ) Is it just me?
They (Them, those & The others) will swarm me like blowflies on a cows arse :horse: ...

Doesn't Shannons sponsor the friggin event Ash?
Sept 17 mate.

Now you can organise the time off straight after (Mon 18/Tue 19/Wed 20 Sep) load up the Impreza with a trailer containing a bike that is motard prepped and registered with a new chain and sprockets already fitted, Put Carmen in the car, pack some nice 'comfortable' things for her, book a room in Porepunkah away from the bulk of the trouble, and have a weekend away... with ya mates!

No excuses cause we only piss on excuses here mate :booty: ...

eye, sorry about that captain, but it can't be done :(

Next year will (hopefully) be my first year of freedom in about a decade. I plan to go riding a lot. Only 4 months to go :)

Things are happening so I can't commit to anything any distance away, unless I get a "no where not going before" type deal.

ill be there ... most likely on the gsxr ... getting back from perth via the UK late on the sat night in tim eto get 4 hours sleep and head down to the GP for sunday ... so i reckon ill be too lazy to put the wheels on the DRZ ... might happen tho ... as at least i can wheelstand the DRZ and ill look like even more of a gumby on the gixxer than on the DRz ... but at least ill be there :)
