:ride:
Now I know actually riding our bikes is a bit of a stretch from sitting around and talking crap about them ;) Cal is talking about having a bit of a ride through the spurs on the weekend, and my preference is sunday. Weather looking good, so could be a good day for a run around.
What say thee?

I'm in for Sunday if I can get a leave pass and the track is a decent temperature. :)

I'm out for this weekend and the next few too as I am trying to get to South Australia to see my daughter...
Fuel as it is will probably set me back $500 for the round trip in the ute...
Anyone with a sportbike to swap for the week would be damn fine... ;)

I believe I am now having issues with the leave pass for this Sunday.
The following Saturday I'm in if anyone else is in... I'll post a sep thread for that one.

Ok, some more detail on sunday....
Meet 10:30 at Woori Yallock, the servo on top of the hill on the right as you're headed outbound? From there we'll head up Reefton to Marysville for a bite to eat, then back across the other hill to home. Normal loopage, good funage.
Anyone who wants to come who is heading from city/north/west we can meet at the maccas on springvale & whitehorse roads ... or in ringwood if it's just me and ash :) Hey sibbo, dust off that zx6r and come riding .... :!:

I'm trying to get my shit togther so that I can join you.
The KTM has a rather rooted rear tyre.
The TRX has a nasty flat spot in the carburettion
The aprilia is parked in my mates shed with the battery on charge.
If nothing actually goes to plan I'll bring the TRX and wind the idle speed up.
Probably meet up on the road at the Launching Place pub.
dicky.

Orrite, for anyone else coming (I'm hearing crickets here) we'll meet in ringwood (ash!) at peter stevens from 9ish, ready for a 9.30 kick off to meet cal at woori by 10.30 and hopefully pick up dicky down the road at launching place soon thereafter......

I can't go I ONly got half the stumps in at Dad's (we hit fucking rocks!!!) I have to get them all in tomorrow night so I have to miss out now
If it was the afternoon I might (very slim chance) be able, it would have just depended on the rocks!!

Cool, might pass you on the way through the spurs ... I'm going to shoot off from ringwood at 9.15 now since turnout sounds low ... so if anyone decides to come and misses me, 10.30 in woori...

:-({|= :lol2:
Good day's riding, had pete (morph from mcnews) along on his gix 750, cal on his cbr6hund and of course dicky on the venerable trx. Did the loop up from warby over the spur, laughed at the poor unfortunate pulled over on the side of the road with his passenger spewing their guts out ;) and then on to marysville for a break before going back over the black spur and back home via christmas hills. Awesome weather, still nice and mild at cumberland junction :)

We passed a KTM motard just before Healesville.
Pulled over with his mates just after the twisties finished.
Had a green bag over his back.
Anyone we know?

Went past a guy on a ktm motard (who was riding, not pulled over) toward the end of the black spur too, or is that the same guy you're talking about? :-k

Yeah, saw you guys pass me at the bottom of the spur. Good day's riding, but the cops put a checkpoint at the halfway picnic area at about 3pm, so we left it at that.

Same guy, you went past him, I rode beside for a few seconds, he pulled over with his mates after the forest.
Shiny bike, should ride more aggresively*

Yeah, you guys caught me on a slow patch, was my first real go on the spurs with the new bike, and off my P's. Still managed to get a good portion of the chicken strips off.
Got bark busters to fit this week, and trying to decide if the axle sliders are worth getting. I quite like the bike shiny (and license intact).

I'm spewing I missed the ride on Sunday, I woke up too late after a late night party I was obligated to attend with the cheese and kisses.
Speaking of licenses, now my bike's loosening up a bit & is now reasonably well set-up, also having obtained offensive pipage & done a wee tuning jobbie on it I am starting to get VERY worried about keeping my license intact.

Maybe last weekend would have been good but now it's really a one man job! Thanks anyway
I have to work Saturday so I hope I can knock it over on SUnday early so I can get the Husky out for it's last fun ride
