As hinted at in another post, lets see the year off with a bang.

Startpoint BP cnr Magill & Portrush

Heading south featuring 'Death rd' and other favourites, and will stop at BP Crafers to get some extra fuel range, or meet guys coming from south.

At this stage I'm open to suggestions for start time, so no excuses. The earlier the better, don't want to be leaving Magill after 1200

I'll melt! I like early, but wanted to give the people who have decided to reproduce a chance to work a ride in to their schedule.
Most guys have my number, so feel free to call if timings an issue, I'd rather be a bit warm than miss out on going for a ride with a bunch of good blokes.
I'll set a firm start time around 7 tomorrow night.

Righto, haven't heard from any of you other limp-wristed ladyboys, so me and oldskool will be leaving the BP at 0730 so as to beat the heat.

love that 'Death road'....
should be a great morning, my favourite time for a ride in the hills.

I think I'll go adjust my chain...

This one was letting people know when I would be providing the information relevant to when the ride would commence.

Apologies for any confusion

This limp wristed ladyboy has a bent bike and bit twisted body from taking rock and soil samples with my head.
So I am going shopping for functioning bike parts. NOT BLING!!!!! To replace the bent bits on my bike. Enjoy the ride guys! I was tempted to ride it dirty and bent with the dirt tyres on.......but realised I couldnt get into my road gear to ride!
More character marks to show my bike gets ridden.

How was the ride this morning. Felt pretty hot when I walked out of the airconditioned house.

Bloody fantastic ride, glad we left as early as we did, was getting pretty warm and windy towards the end, and there was heaps of tree matter on the roads, but it was great to just go for a real easy cruise in the sunshine.

Great pics, is that Wilunga? how many times did you do that section today?

I'm changing jobs at work soon and moving back South so hopefully will get out a bit more.

Nah, in between Kangarilla and Mclaren Vale, just did 2 runs up it, looks better than it is to ride, but that opinion may change if I ride it again without all the sticks and bark etc all over it, doesn't flow very well so not really worth the 150km return leg from Magill. We don't do south rides very often, but I would be keen to be shown new loops down there by a local.

I couldn't remember which place was yours, otherwise would've dropped in to give you shit for not coming riding with us!

Great ride yesterday apart from the heat coming back from the deep south..

We will have to get back down there again soon, I couldn't remember half the roads tgp450 showed me ages ago. Would be good to have a tour guide for the next run.

Here's my effort with the fone pics.
The last couple are of the Corkscrew on my way back home. series of single lane hairpins plunging down the valley, then a twisty section along the valley floor. very similar to Macquarie pass near the Gong in nsw, just not as long, but just as much fun ;)

Looks like a fun road! Thought looks a bit like the old willunga hill rd There's a few good uns down south. Always a bit far for northsiders (not that that excuse works for me right now) but good to try out once in a while.
